Doing it Differently

 Doing it differently  was  a curated exhibition where artists were asked to showcase how they do their 'thing' differently… whether they paint, draw, weave, collage, print or whatever they do creatively. Coinciding with Geelong Design Week this exhibition  encouraged artists to look beyond their medium.  Kathy Fahey exhibited three multi layered collages dealing with elements of the natural world.  The work was created using acrylic paint, rice paper, acid free glue and Stonehenge paper.  The work is as much about the negative space and the shapes and colours within the work as it is about birds and flowers.
