Forest is a hand painted collage of an Australian forest of tall eucalyptus trees and straggly undergrowth. The work was created by tearing hand painted paper and reassembling this paper into the finished collage where surface, colour, movement and the torn white and black edges are as important to the piece as the subject itself.
