Forest is a hand painted collage of a eucalyptus forest overlooking a distant landscape. The work was created by tearing hand painted paper and reassembling this paper into the finished collage where surface, colour, movement and the torn white and black edges are as important to the piece as the subject itself. The work is behind glass, with a light oak frame and neutral matt board.
